SolidThinking is a 3D/2D design tool able to create any object design. The application is developed for the Industrial Design segment. The user can create from a simple bowl or cup to machinery parts (botls, screws, pieces).
The program allows you to create an object with a defined measure that can be seen in different views as the design advances. Four basic views (Top, Perspective, Front, Right) can be used as guide to see how the final product would look like in full perspective. This allows designers to add/edit details from a certain part/surface of the design. Three complete effects toolbars (Transform, Curves, Surfaces) allow the user to create and shape any form, combining curves with lines, then with shapes and finishing it with a specific surface. An additional Top Toolbar with effects to polish/finish a design is also included (material effects: Wood or Metal).
Among the key features is the Rendering Effect, the final design can be rendered and if designed with a particular perspective/effect if can be seen as a short rendering video to have a complete design view. SolidThinking runs smoothly on Windows 7 32bit.
